For use in electrostatic experiments. Motor driven, 110V AC. The motor operates at speeds up to 2400 r.p.m. Complete with removable, vertical insulator, flat rubber belt, polished and detachable metal dome of approximately 7-inch diameter. Also includes 4mm sockets in dome and base to attach various accessories. Under favorable weather conditions, the generator can give a spark to 4", yielding a potential difference of approx. 100,000V. Ready for working with 1.5mm of 3-core mains cable. For discharging the unit, the discharge wand may be used (sold separately as 2807). Instructions included.
