A wooden meter-rule graduated in mm acts as a lever. The lever has a fulcrum at its center, which rests on a heavy, cast-metal support-stand. An adjustable nut-screw arrangement at each end facilitates initial balancing. Weights can be suspended on a pair of knife-edge clamps with hooks. A pair of brass weight hangers of 500g included. Weight set of 8 included.
